The Union for the Mediterranean consists of all 28 EU Member Countries and additional 15 Southern and Eastern Mediterranean Countries. By decision of the UfM Ministers in charge of housing, municipal affairs and urban development, a Working Group on Affordable and Sustainable Housing was introduced, with IIBW as consult. Outputs have been an assessment of international good practice of affordable housing, a regional analysis including extensive data analysis, a concept for the implementation of affordable rental housing sectors and project proposals for some of the involved countries.
