This study accounts for the feasibility of establishing an affordable rental housing sector in Albania, using the example of a recent cooperation with the city of Shkoder.

This conference addressed the Austrian system of affordable housing as an example of European social policy. It was initiated by the recent "Dutch case". The panel discussion focussed on the compliance of housing subsidies with EU Law.

On the basis of statistical data from the household panael of the national statistical office, the project analyses housing costs and affordability issues in Ukraine.

The project targeted to identify existing initiatives of public-private partnerships (PPP) in the Ukrainian housing and construction sector and to define framework conditions to enforce them.

ARE, Austrian Real Estate, is a State owned real estate development company with more than 600 properties under management. It has committed to a housing programme, consisting of 10,000 units to be startet until 2020. IIBW was assigned to analyse markets and propose a structure of quantities and products.
